*virus

My wife and I got a call from our daughter’s kindergarten on Thursday with news that everybody in my daughter’s class needs to quarantine for ten days because one of the kids got infected with COVID. That evening, my wife got really sick and had to visit the emergency room! She was diagnosed with a norovirus infection, and we are thankful that it is not something worse.

Norovirus infections are very contagious, and it is common for it to spread to the whole family. We have been very careful, and we already had ethanol on hand for decontamination thanks to being in a global pandemic. Thankfully, our daughters show no signs of infection. I had the early symptoms of infection, but I am feeling better this morning instead of worse! I hope it is not too early to celebrate.

With my oldest daughter home from kindergarten, I am going to be short on time for a week or two. My photo gallery software reviews will progress more slowly than I had planned, but I will work on that when I get a chance.
