Golden Week Hike

Golden Week, a week containing multiple public holidays in Japan, officially starts on Monday, but it started this weekend in spirit. To kick off the holidays, I took my older daughter on a mountain hike today. We had a great hike, and we spotted our first snake of the season, a small rat snake.
